Prosystem racing and Technosport confirmed for Tunisia rallye

Eric Vigouroux and Prosystem racing will compete in the Optic 2008 Rallye of Tunisia in his Toyo backed Chevrolet Protruck. The Protruck runs on either 37 x 13.5 R 17 or 37 x 14,50 R 15 Open Country M/T depending on conditions and Prosystem will be taking both to Tunisia.
Vigouroux was bitterly disappointed after the Dakar was cancelled earlier this year. A specialist in the sands of Africa he will be right at home in Tunisia and is looking for a podium place.
Although The Ralle is of Tunisia, in fact it will start in Corsica giving the teams additional logistical problems to overcoem to be suiccesful.
Former Dakar winner, Kenjiro Shinozuka will also be in Tunisia, driving his Technosport Nissan in the Rallye.
Shinozuka was also disappointed in Portugal after the Dakar Rally wascancelled and is looking to prove the performance of the new 235/85 R16 Open Country M/T - Race tires fitted to his car.
More information on the progress of the Toyo drivers will appear once the race starts on April 23.
