Vigouroux first in class in Tunisia rallye
28.04.2008
After a series of storming results, French driver Eric Vigouroux and his co-pilot Alexandre Winocq are lying first in their class and third in the overall classifications.
Vigouroux races a Cherolet Silverado prepared by his Prosysytem Racing team. The Chevrolet runs on TOYO Open Country M/T tires and Vigouroux has a selection of sizes available to him depending on what is required for the conditions.
The Tunisia Rallye is the first round of the FIA Cropss Country World Cup and with the cancellation of the dakar this year, is the first chance for Rally raid competitors to experience the sand and dunes of Africa.
At checkpoint one in today's stage (etape 4), Vigouroux was second overall with a chance of outright victory in the stage.
