05.01.2009
Robby Gordon in his TOYO TIRES Monster Energy Hummer H3, will once again participate in the Dakar Rally on TOYO TIRES Open Country M/T tires.
All eyes will be on the Hummers as they attend their 4th Dakar rally when it starts on January 3.

This year, the team includes Dakar veteran Eric Vigouroux who drives the second Hummer H3 as his Pro-System Racing Chevrolet is being updated for the FIA Cross Country Rally in Tunisia late this year.
Robby Gordon and Vigouroux have been friends since Gordon started participating in the Dakar and it was Robby Gordon who introduced Vigouroux to TOYO TIRES when he offered him some of his unused tires. After trying the TOYO TIRES, Vigouroux immediately switched to TOYO and has seen fantastic results since including 2nd place in the 2008 Optic Rallye of Tunisia.
This year, the Dakar moves to Argentina and Robby Gordon will be ;looking to improve upon the 8th place overall he achieved in the last Dakar. With nearly 6.000 KMs of special stage , it will be one of the most challenging Dakars ever. The route takes the competitors from Beunos Aires in Argentina on a 9.500KM Rally taking in Chile before returning to Beunos Aires on the 18th of January.
