Robby Gordon on the Dakar Podium

Robby Gordon has acheived the virtually impossible. With his independent Team Dakar USA, he has beaten the might of several manufacturer teams to take third place overall in the 2009 Dakar rally. His 3rd position also makes him the fastest 2 wheel drive vehicle and winner of the Open category.
Gordon uses 37x13.5 R 17 open Country M/T tires on his Monster Energy H3 Hummer. Despite an increased restrictor plate, his H3 Hummer was able to keep up with the factory cars in all but the very fastest sections because of the phenomenal grip available from his TOYO TIRES.
Gordon and TOYO TIRES will return in 2010 looking for the top step of the podium and despite the millions spent by the works team, only a fool would bet against him acheiving a momentous victory.
