Pro-System Racing win Stage 7 in Tunisia Rally
29.04.2009
Eric Vigouroux has driven his Chevrolet Trophy Truck, equipped with TOYO TIRES Open Country M/T-R tires to a historic win in today’s stage of the Rallye OiLibya of Tunisia.
The rally is the second round of the FIA World Championship for Cross Country Rallies covering 4.300 km, including 3.200 km of timed stages over some of the hardest terrain.

Today’s stage was 397 km alone and included sharp, flint like rocks which can shred and strip a tire from the rim. Open Country M/T-R tires offer great protection against damage and so it proved as Eric’s car was the only one in the top eight not to have to stop for a puncture repair. Eric attributed his win to his TOYO TIRES explaining “The key of the success was in the tires.”

Stage eight tomorrow sees the Pro-System Racing Chevrolet crossing back from Libya to Tunisia in 365 km of more extremely hard going terrain. In these conditions, another stage victory, even against the might of some very experienced teams is always possible.
With one of the smallest budgets, Pro-System Racing have been fighting in the desert against larger well funded professional teams and factory entrants. The package of car, driver and TOYO TIRES have proved unbeatable when they all come together.
