New President for Toyo Tire Europe GmbH

Neuss, Germany - Toyo Tire Europe GmbH announce today the appointment of Mr Tamotsu Sakuramoto as President.
Mr Sakuramoto brings a wealth of experience to Toyo Tire Europe, having spent twenty eight years with TOYO TIRES in a variety of roles, most recently as President of Toyo Tire and Rubber Australia. Mr Sakuramoto’s previous experiences include managing replacement tire sales, sports products and a spell in purchasing giving him an all round view of the business.
In his free time, Mr Sakuramoto likes to golf and fish.

On his appointment, Mr Sakuramoto commented,
“I am pleased to be joining Toyo Tire Europe at this challenging time for the World economy. I want to use all of our resources, human, technical and commercial so that we can emerge from the current market conditions as a stronger, more customer focused business. My predecessor, Mr Kasai has taken Toyo Tire Europe forward some giant steps and I want to ensure that momentum is maintained and accelerates in to the future.”
