Proxes R36 fitted to new compact SUV

Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. Osaka, Japan (President and CEO Kenji Nakakura), announces that Toyo Proxes R36 tires have been chosen as original equipment for the new Mazda CX-5 compact SUV from launch.



The 225/55 R 19 99V Proxes R36 complements the SKYACTIV technology introduced on the Mazda CX-5. SKYACTIV technology, a combination of pleasure, efficiency and safety, offers enhanced handling and stability, greater fuel economy and lower emissions.



TOYO TIRES are already fitted as original equipment on Mazda, 2, 3, 5, and 6 models in Europe. The latest fitment to the compact crossover Mazda CX-5 reflects the new KODO, Soul of Motion design based on movement in nature. Proxes R36 delivers the agility and vitality required by Mazda’s theme of efficient yet beautiful movement.
